How Does Keralase Work?

What Benefits Can You Expect?

Keralase is designed to stimulate hair growth and improve scalp health. You'll typically notice improvements in scalp health and hair growth over a series of treatments scheduled one month apart. For the best results, it's recommended to have an in-office Kerafactor treatment once a month, with a total of six treatments. While some patients may experience immediate results, most will see gradual improvements during the course of 3-5 treatments. To maintain the progress and overall hair and scalp health, we recommend using the take-home KeraFactor® serum and shampoo/conditioner.

Pre-Care

• The night before the treatment you should wash your hair with shampoo (never use a conditioner). This will ensure that your hair is clean and free from all hair products.
• Use sun protection and stay out of the sun for a week before and after each treatment.

Post-Care

• After treatment your hair may shed due to exposure to the laser, this is because you are in the  telogen phase (resting phase). You don't need to be alarmed about this as it's normal after the treatment and contact us.
• You should avoid washing your hair for 24 hours after the treatment. You can resume normal hair care activities including the application of hair products after your hair and scalp have dried naturally
• You can use KeraFactor™Scalp Stimulating Solution, KeraFactor™ Scalp Stimulating Shampoo and Conditioner, and other products as directed.
